If you are new here, there are opportunities to celebrate being in community by attending a Starting Point meeting between church service this weekend; joining a home group; fellowshipping with the men over steaks or the women over a time of reflection. Opportunities abound where you can find a place to connect and contribute.

    September 14 - October 26th(4-5p) , we're offering a weekly afternoon"Sunday Seminar." This session on the book of Acts will be taught by experienced teacher, author, and regular attender, Jerry Roper. Childcare is available with prior registration.

  • Friday, September 19th 5pm-6:30pm, we'll be having a DIY party here at the church for our children in grades 3,4 &5. 

    We are super excited to invite you to our next 345 event.  We'll be doing some Tie-Dye, bracelet making, games, etc.   Dinner will be provided.  We hope that everyone is able to come and invite a friend. Parents are welcome but not required to stay.

  • Our fall generosity project is October 4th from 9am-12pm. Mark your calendars for our Pumpkin Giveaway! It is our way to give to our neighbors and beyond to the wider community through pumpkins. We are a church that wants to be generous with unexpected forms of giving, with no strings attached.

  • Tuesday, October 28th, 6-8pm

    Join other women for an evening of fellowship and connection as we focus on our relationships with Jesus and each other.

    We will gather at the home of Mary Harrison to hear a reflection from one of our own Community West women, Sarah Mayfield, and then we'll have time for small group discussion about our own stories and experiences. 

    Delicious food, treats, and beverages will be provided.

  • We participate with Samaritan’s Purse to send gift-filled shoeboxes to children in need around the world with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    This year Community West Church will be an official shoe box drop off point for the greater community of Richmond during National Collection Week (Nov 17-24). We need people to help by serving on the collection team at Community West Church to receive the incoming boxes from the west end of Richmond during the week of November 17th. Register Here.

  • October 5, 4:30-7:00

    Join the Men’s Group for their annual cookout. We invite you, your children and grandchildren, friends and neighbors to enjoy an afternoon of fellowship at the 3rd annual Men’s Fellowship Cookout.

    We will have fun on the field including an all-generational kickball game beginning at 4:30 PM and a steak dinner [hamburgers and hot dogs available for children] and brief message at 5:45 PM. If you are participating in the Sunday Seminar, please feel free to join us after your groups.

    A $5.00 contribution is requested for a steak, no contribution requested for the hamburgers and hot dogs.
