Want to learn more about Community West - who we are, why we do what we do, and how God might be calling you here ? Discover Community West is for you. 

Discover Community West is a two-session gathering. In our first session, we walk through our mission, vision, values, ministries, and denomination. In our second session, those interested in joining Community West as a covenant partner (member) get to know one another and find their place in what God's doing here. We offer Discover Community West every three months.

Form a Trio

Trios are intentionally small gatherings of three people that foster spiritual depth, vulnerability, and growth. Specifically, they provide space to explore, begin, or return to your faith. If that captures the season you’re in, we’d encourage you to walk through it in community alongside others in a Trio. 

While the church doesn't oversee each Trio, we'd love to help you think through who you might form a Trio with and brainstorm what your Trio might go through during your months together.

Join a Community Group

Community Groups help folks find a family within the larger church family of Community West. 

Community Groups are small groups who meet weekly during the fall and spring to build lasting friendships and follow Christ together. Some meet in homes, some in coffee shops, some at the church. Each gathering, groups spend time looking at Scripture together, making space to share how each person is doing, and praying for one another. 

Serve on a Sunday Morning Team

Each member of the Community West family is an indispensable part of what we do. Our hope is that every person who calls Community West "home" will serve on one of our Sunday Morning Team once a month.

We currently have nine Sunday Morning Teams to serve on: Kids Ministry, Coffee, Communion Prep, Hospitality, Slides, Sound, Live Stream, Music, and Ushers.

At Community West, we long to see people and places in West Richmond and beyond transformed by the love of God through Christ Jesus. We are glad to have intentional partnerships with local and global partners around the world who share that same vision.
