I love defined organization and clear communication! After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Business Administration, I worked in campus ministry overseas. During that time, my love for strategic planning and establishing systems grew. Once I returned to the states, I spent a few years as an Assistant TO the Area Manager in a small community bank in Fauquier County, Virginia. 

I moved to Richmond when I married my husband, Tyler, in 2012. We stumbled upon Community West and never left! The authentic and genuine hearts of the people drew us in, and we've been a part of this community ever since. I love our church; it has been a safe harbor during turbulent seasons over the past ten years.

A year or so after moving to Richmond, the Administrative Assistant job was created at Community West, and I got to pioneer that role. I loved working for our church! It is a sweet spot for me, combining my administrative and ministry brains. 

We had our first son in 2015, which rocked my world in the best and craziest of ways! I decided to stay home with our boys, Wes and Jack, all while wondering if and when I'd get to work at Community West again. That opportunity arose in 2022, and I'm enjoying being back as the Executive Ministry Assistant!
